Run a report by pay code e.g to find hours paid

Hey - We are looking to introduce a Dynamic Pay Element Report, which would allow you to select pay codes and a period. It would work similar to how the 'Statutory Pay' report works within 'Reports > Payroll Run'. Would this meet your requirement?
