It would be great to allow employers to enter just the hours/pay code amount by employee without having full access
Thanks for the clarification Steve
I'm understanding that as we're talking about a payroll entry method for employers do upload/enter pay data without having access to the rest of the software - that use case is one we have looked at internally, it requires a new set of permissions and a new UI piece - I will highlight it for review.

Hi Steve.
Thanks for getting in touch. In order to review this it would help us to understand this requirement better. Are you able to supply us with examples of what permissions/visibility you would like this type of user to have, or not have? That way we can see how this might fit in with the current model. If you are open to discussing this further let me know and I will arrange that.
Cheers
Dylan
Hey @Guest! 👋
Thanks for this suggestion – we'd love to understand exactly what you're looking for so we can explore the best solution.
Just to clarify, are you after:
Option 1: A user role that can only enter hours worked for employees (like timesheet entry)?
Option 2: A user role that can only enter amounts against specific pay codes (like bonuses, commissions, or allowances)?
Option 3: Both of the above – basically a limited role that can input hours and pay code amounts, but nothing else?
And just to help us picture this – what would this user not need access to? For example, would they not need to see salaries, run payroll, edit employee details, that sort of thing?
The more detail you can give us about your ideal setup, the better we can understand what would work for you! 🙌
Thanks again for taking the time to share this with us!
An example is Dacombe & Renaut Limited (electrical retailer) - they have 5 pay codes - Overtime, Commission, SPIV, store target and Trust Pilot, it would be great if they could enter the amount to pay by employee but not have full access
