Calculating tax contributions for employees on variable hourly rates, who work varying shifts per month are being punished in their tax calculations for working more hours, because calculations are happening with 'full decimal place' calculations, as opposed to 2 decimal places. I've attached an image below of the difference between using 2 decimal place calculations, and multiple decimal place calculations to show what I mean, but someone who works 140 hours a month, can be missing out on up to £0.60 of pay through this issue
Hi Dan.
Thanks for your suggestion. I will look into this for you - it will help to have some more details. Am I ok to email you directly to discuss this further?
Hi Dan, Sheila
Based on your initial comments we've been looking into this and the plan is to give you control of how many decimal places the calculations should be using.
It is on our roadmap to do.
Cheers
Dylan
