Salaried employees Base Hourly Rate on their profile only calculates to two decimal places, this causes discrepancies particularly on termination and providing quotes to clients.
Staffology allows for more numbers to be manually entered after the decimal point for the employees, but the automatic calculation is just to two decimal point.
For example: An employee on £35,000 per year, 38 hours per week, will show as £17.71 per hour on their profile, and all PILON and Unused Leave will use this hourly rate.
But 152 hours of PILON would be ((£35,000 / 52 / 38) * 152) = £2,692.31, while Staffology would calculate as 152 hours * £17.71 = £2,691.92.
I know this is not a big difference, but the conversion in Staffology from annual salary to hourly rate is causing disrepancies and incorrect payments to salaried employees.
This would also apply if any other type of hourly payments are made to the salaried employee, such as overtime etc.
