It would be useful if the pay code unit description could be customisable, instead of just being per hour or per day.
For example, per shift, per mile etc

As an alternative to have set multipliers would it be possible to have a "user" type which would allow for setting up what name the multiplier is given on the payslip. That way we are not restricted to pre determined unit types i.e. hours, days, miles etc.
Please allow the units to be in miles as soon as possible as my client is not happy with miles stated in hours. The only workaround is to pay miles in £ and to import a note stating how many miles it is, which means that I have to first import the notes and then the pay, which is incredibly faffy.
We would like the ability to have 'Units' as Multiplier, not just 'Hours' or 'Days' as we use the same pay components for all staff - some which are daily contracted and others hourly.
