Allow payslip viewing by department - you can only run the payslips for all employees

You can put employees into Departments but I do not think you can run payslips in these departments. You have to preview the whole company. Where client's have different departments and slightly different pay dates it would be easier to process and report on departments.

    Hi Chris.
    HMRC recommend you set up different payrolls with different pay dates if you have employees in the situation you describe. Staffology allows you to set up as many payrolls as you need within an employer record.

      Hi Chris.
      You are able to transfer employees between payrolls without making them leavers.

      Can you set up different payrolls and transfer employees over to them during a tax year? or do they have to go as leavers to go on the new payroll?

    Sorting by Department for payslips and reports

    When departments are present for an employer, the payslips and reports not sorted - they appear in random order. We expect all payslips to be listed by department and same for the reports.

    Download payslips by departments

    Payslips can be viewed by departments but cannot be downloaded. It would be helpful for clients to check employees pay easily if they can be downloaded according to the departments.
