Ability to import payrolled benefit values on a monthly basis with a monthly value, rather than having to calculate an annual value.
We receive our health insurance benefits amounts from the provider on a monthly basis, and cannot simply multiply that by 12 as Staffology pro-rates the annual value depending on how many tax months are left in the tax year.
We would like to just import the monthly value, just like a payment amount upload CSV.
Hey - This is now available within Staffology! When adding a benefit you will now have option to tick for 'Is Period Value' and start and end dates which will prorate based on the information provided. We are currently just working on being able to import these new options - Import functionality we aim to have available in the next 2-4 weeks.
Hi
Any ideas when this is likely to be available ?
thanks
Great news, we have this planned on our Q1 roadmap. Once we have a estimated arrival date, I will update this idea.
Hi Jenny,
I don't believe you can create a Pay Code for payrolled benefits, it would therefore treat any imported values into the payrun as a normal taxable allowance payable to the employee.
My understanding is that payroll benefits needs to be on the employees profile.
Could you not create a monthly upload into payroll via the import button on payroll and a csv file?
Hi,
Would be interested to see how the person currently dealing with this issue processes this each month. We have around 900 employees with health benefit amounts that are all subject to change due to exchange rate fluctuations, so we cannot manually update this each month, and need some kind of workaround. Thanks!
Hey Craig - Thank you for posting your idea! I will set this as a future consideration and if a timeline becomes available, I will update this idea.
This would be super useful for us as well, as we have a big headcount with the same issue with hundreds of entry every month, plus we need to do our currency conversion each month from USD to GBP, so cannot simply add an annual amount.
