Default Options by Frequency

We have multiple clients who operate both weekly and monthly frequencies and due to the fact defaults are set at company level there is a large amount of manual work for one of the frequencies and functionality that can't be used. The top three areas where improvement would make the most difference:

  1. Pensions - a NEST pension requires a worker group for each frequency under the scheme - if we set the default worker group as the weekly group, any monthly employees will be auto-enrolled into the wrong group under the wrong settings and vice versa if we set the worker group as the monthly group, any weekly employees will be auto enrolled into the wrong group.

  2. Holiday Schemes - where schemes vary such as monthly salaried staff holding a days allocation and weekly paid variable staff operating on accrual there is a lot of manual work required as we can only set one default.

  3. Auto-emails - can not be separated by frequency.

An awful lot of time and errors could be saved if we could set defaults by frequency so when a new starter is set up it assesses which schedule it is being set up on and applies the default for this schedule/frequency.
