Validation process for connected services

We are currently trying to streamline our clients by using as much of the automation and available API that the system can offer and are finding the process very jarring. A validation or test process would make this a lot better as each time we attempt to automate the NEST pension for example and and get an error, we need to roll back and completely restart the pay run for it to apply the changes so we can try again. When you are only provided with a single error code at a time, this is a very jarring process of back and forth that creates a terrible user experience for both us and the client.
