Clone/ Copy Payrolls

We would like the ability to be able to copy/ clone an existing Payroll (all data/ details) to be able to use the copy payroll for issue investigation or scenario testing. We have ahd numerous cases with the Support Team, which cannot be investigated as the payroll is Live/ Closed.

It is BAD practice to test resolutions to issues in a live environment and can lead to further issues, and this is why we need to Clone/ Copy.

      I would like to add an additional element to this idea - it is also bad practice to use live data when running through what if scenarios. IPP has a "Copy Payroll" function which creates a one time use copy of your live payroll which can be manipulated without risking live data. Bureau's such as ourselves will regularly run what if scenarios so this would be a desirable feature.

    Offline (temporary?) payroll for what if calcalations

    Create a temporary dataset to test a change without effecting the live environment

    In Iris Payroll Professional you can create a temporary dataset based off a clients data so you can test a change or similar prior to committing to it to ensure that it wont adversely effect anything.
