Staffology uses 52 weeks to calculate base hourly rate in an employee record and in the pay run uses 52.1428 to check for national minimum wage. An employee can therefore show as being on £12.21 NMW in their record but a NMW warning is generated in the pay run. Why is 52 weeks used in the employee record and 52.1428 weeks used in the pay run. This is inconsistent. Can these be aligned to both use 52 weeks. It results in many NMW warnings. The suggestion from Staffology to disable the warnings is not good.
Agreed!
This is so annoying when I'm running my bigger pay runs - I'm spending a lot of time double-checking warnings to make sure there are no errors.
