Please could we have a way of incorporating Alabaster salary changes into SMP for it to auto recalculate within the the 39 weeks for the 6 weeks higher rate and for this to be shown separately on the payslips (to identify it as Alabaster) but still be incorporated in SMP.
If 90% of the employee's Average Weekly Earnings (AWE) is lower than the SMP rate, then the full 39 weeks will need to be recalculated, not just the first 6 weeks. Currently if you update their AWE in their leave record, Staffology recalculates the entire SMP schedule but the backpay has to be done manually.
Alabaster extends to the end of the full 52 weeks maternity leave period. Pay increases during the 13 week unpaid additional maternity leave period therefore still trigger the Alabaster SMP recalculation.
