It would be useful for the "Modified By" information of the audit trail to be correct. I raised a support ticket where I was informed I had been changing employee records. This was quite concerning and could have landed me in trouble with the directors. In my case the changes were caused by the integration between Staffology HR and Payroll. The fact the support person wasn't able to distinguish between changes I had made and those the system had made is very concerning.
This is a really important update that needs to happen. I have just raised the same query with support myself as it is really unclear for our clients like this. They are asking why I am amending their payroll records (which of course I am not… its the integration) however I set up the API and so it is attaching my name. Really unclear for them auditing their records.
