Allow Payline Costings to be calculated as a percentage of Monthly Salary
So we can manage and view payline costings without having to do manual calculations for every employee and have to add them as Additional pay, removing the salary element.

Hi Izzy,
I know the function to add payments in with Payline Costing is currently active, however, these, currently, have to be added in as additional payments.
My idea is to be able to tell the system how much of a persons monthly salary is contributed to each cost centre using percentages rather than a set value.
In each of the following examples, I do the same role just in different parts of the business.
An example of this would be input currently:
I work 70% of my time in admin and 30% of my time in central. So I am having to work out the value of these and add an addition/deduction pay line for each, then removing my basic salary for this to work.
An example of my idea:
I tell the system at an employee setting level that I work 70% of my time in admin and 30% of my time in central and then I don't have to set this up and remove my salary line from my payrun as the 70% and 30% would already be attributed to the correct cost centres. (similar to IPP)
I'm actually a Staffology Implementation Consultant and I was having a play around and realised you couldn't do it. If you would like a chat you can find me on Teams :)
Hey Ant - Just wanting to clarify the requirement here. Are you wanting to add an additional payment to each employee that is a percentage of their basic pay automatically? Any examples would be great!
