Currently there is no communication from Staffology when there is a system issue that might affect scheduled emails or reports. For Example we schedule payslips to be released at a specific time and date for some of our clients, at the end of August these did not work. There was no communication to us as a client/user, so this went unknown. as a result payslips were then issued again in September, after the clients complaining. This is a breach of the legal requirements for payroll and which we could not avoid as we were not informed of this.
When there are system issues we need to be told about these things, especially if it can have a legal impact for clients, and potential claims by employees against them or us. Please consider improving this aspect of your service.
This has now caused another issue for us with a new payroll we have taken on. There is a known issue with leavers and the system duplicating pension deductions. We've been unaware and processed payroll for a new client, who has then had to raise this. With 200 employees we cannot line by line check for unknown system issues every month. It has also transpired there is an issue with the automation of emailing reports on closing payroll. We have to be able to trust the system and know we will be advised of problems. please can this be escalated as it is having a drastic impact on our business and efficiencies.
I had the same problem. Payslips were not sent out and I was only made aware of this as a result of client complaints which was rather embarrassing. On raising the issue with Staffology I discovered that you were already aware of this as it had already been raised by other customers. I understand that software issues can happen, but it would have been preferable to have been notified that I could have been on top of this one.
