Whilse the payroll is 'open' we can view a draft payslip which is currently water-marked as 'Draft-payslip not finalised'.
It would be good if there was the ability to email these in bulk prior to finalising the payroll. It would help in resolving any issues with payroll and give payroll/HR the ability to make an amendment prior to closing the payroll and finalising.
I often have queries on payslips when they do extra hours on the odd days that haven't been marked up. I have in the past finalised my payroll, only to find errors that need correcting. This caused me a lot of problems, as the pension file had already been sent, then after correct, it sent again, as the next month. Spend ages doing an adjustment form to get it all correct.
We also require the ability for these drafts to be password protected in the same way as when we send the final report.
Good idea! there are always queries after the payslip are finalized.
