It would be great if possible to map the department field to a tracking category in Xero. Currently our team has to break the journal up manually in Xero so we can get department wise reporting, because Staffology only posts total balances to the nominal ledger, opposed to splitting it by department.

Thanks for the suggestion. A breakdown based on some sort of account group such as department for output is something we already have on our roadmap. I will let you know when that becomes active.

I see this was marked on the roadmap back in 2021. If this could please be reviewed again, as is otherwise forcing a manual process with our accountants to achieve this. Thank you.
We have over 300 employees working over multiple departments(locations) which needs to be split at JNL level into Xero, This would be an Urgent request to implement this.
recently contact support as I have set up departments including nominal codes , although you can view the department costs split on the pay run jnl report the split does not breakdown into the Xero jnl, seems pointless being able to add different nominal codes and split departments if this does not post through to the Xero jnl,
