We have a large number of payrolls where the salaries do not change each month, and each month is processed exactly the same with no changes.
We want to utilise the use of automation as much as possible for these. However, if we switch the automation on for autopilot etc there is nothing to flag if the payroll has any warnings each month or any check that RTI has gone successfully etc so there are still some manual steps in processing the payroll.
There could be that someone's NI category needs to change or they have hit a new age to change their NMW rate however if we have the payroll set on auto pilot this would not get flagged to us and would get missed.
We therefore are struggling to see how we can fully automate any payroll without a risk of something being missed and not being flagged to us.
It would be good if the system could stop the automation and flag any warnings, so we then go in and check these manually and change the payroll where needed. If there are no warnings, then the system knows to complete the payroll and finalise the automation.
This would enhance the level of automation to allow us to fully automate payrolls that don't change each month without the risk of warnings getting missed, creating a massive time saving.
