Multiple pay elements to calculate together as total salary

Currently, when adding pay elements via a pay spine to an employee's additions/deductions tab only one can be classed as 'basic salary'. It would help the employer to be able to add multiple pay elements together to create a 'total salary' to be shown on the employee record/reporting
