Can you show a submission period when submitting an EPS to HMRC. Dates are shown on FPS screen but not on EPS submission which is equally as important.
Also remove from HMRC screen the warning shown at top of screen when you click into relevant Month. This shows - EPS Required The detailed below have not yet been declared on an EPS. Would you like to create and submit an EPS now? when EPS screen shows a submission has been made. It also asks here if you would like to submit it now, but then doesn't give you the option to when you try and bring up an error message stating Error There are no declarations in your EPS. There must be at least one.
I understand EPS cannot be sent from HMRC month screen so option should be removed as it is confusing.
The RTI (EPS) & HMRC monthly screens should interact between each other or at least show relevant dates as I have received a £200 HMRC fine for late submission when this is not the case.
Your system should be error proof and even speaking to Vignesh today, he was not able to tell me which periods any of my EPS submissions relate to. If you cant tell me how am I supposed to know.
