Enhancement Request: Option to Control Payslip Line Order for Imported Payments

Issue Summary

When importing payments such as Tronc, Tips, or Service Charges, these payments are currently being displayed on the first line of the payslip. As a result, the Salary Pay or Basic Pay (Regular Hours)—which ideally should appear first—is being pushed to the second line.

Business Impact

Clients expect Salary Pay/Basic Pay to be displayed on the first line of the payslip for clarity and compliance consistency.
Currently, Payroll Specialists must manually delete and re-enter the imported payments to correct the payslip order, creating unnecessary manual effort and risk of error.

Enhancement Recommendation

We recommend enhancing the Import Payments screen to include a checkbox option:

“Display imported payments after Salary/Basic Pay”

When this checkbox is selected:

• The imported payments (e.g., Tronc, Tips, Service Charge) should automatically be positioned after Salary Pay/Basic Pay on the payslip.

• If left unchecked, the current behavior (imported payments appearing first) can remain as default.
