Since moving from IPP to Staffology Bureau, we find that we have reduced control and increased risk where clients have access to everything relating to their payroll.
Huge benefit to the client but as a Bureau, clients can breach their contract by exporting all their data out prior to the end of their contract to transfer to a cheaper alternative option.
There needs to be an element of control for a Bureau where certain data which as the NI tables held within the P11 summary for example (which are crucial to a mid-year transfer), should be restricted to client access roles to negate this element of risk.
Traditionally a Bureau would have a standard exit pack and a control process where this is provided once the final bill is paid and the full contract is honored. Not being able to this opens up huge risk to the Bureau model.
