We had the same issue, all bureau clients wanted posted payslips. To address this, I investigated the true cost of a payslip in 1st class post. When you include the cost of the envelope, the payslip template, the cost of printing (ink = 14p for 1 sheet of A4), the stamp and time to fold and put in the envelope, the true cost is £2.70. When we advised our clients of the increase to postal charges to reflect the TRUE cost, every client changed immediately to MEPW payslips and emailed payslips. on 1 client alone, this has saved us £18,000 per annum in postage and associated costs and therefore increased profits.
