Automatic Update to NIC Category

Can the payrol software be updated to automatically update NIC categories when an employee changes age and a report of these changes made available?

    Hi Hayley.
    Thanks for the suggestion. It links to a previous request about highlighting incorrect NI tables for employees in a report. This suggestion would in theory supersede that and make the necessary changes without user intervention.
    I can see instances where I might want to control updates and prefer a report rather than changing things automatically - it is not unheard of for employees to have incorrect dates of birth entered and being notified of an incorrect table might highlight someone with the wrong date of birth whereas an automatic change might perpetuate that.
    I will forward this on for review, with the caveat it is an option people can have switched on or not as a matter of preference.
