Have the option to run a report for selected employees

I want to be able to print reports for selected employees, rather than all employees in the company/pay run - specifically in Custom Reports. I need to supply line managers with reports for their staff only, or provide employee details for just one person and currently this is not an option. I have always been able to do this with previous payroll software - it is the first time I have come across it.
