When migrating employees, users may import employee records where the employee has already left and a P45 has previously been issued.
Currently, the “Mark P45 as Sent” field cannot be updated via the Employee Import process when using “Allow updates to existing employee records”. Even if the field is set to TRUE in the import file, the system does not update the employee record.
Allowing the “Mark P45 as Sent” field to be updated through employee imports would support smoother migrations from other payroll systems and reduce manual adjustments when onboarding new employers into Staffology Payroll.
