There is an intentional difference in calculations:
52.14 weeks is used for annual salary calculations to comply with NMW rules and reflect the true number of weeks in a year.
52 weeks is used for overtime because this is the standard weekly divisor in payroll operations.
This results in a small difference in the overtime rate (£12.24 vs £12.21), but it remains above NMW.
Suggestion:
Would it be possible to align these two calculations within the system? We are happy to retain the 52.14 week basis for salary, but we would also like overtime to be automatically calculated to ensure it meets the National Minimum Wage. This would avoid having to make manual adjustments each month.
