Introduction of AI-Driven Payslip Summaries & Employee Tax Code Change Notifications

I wanted to share a few enhancement ideas around leveraging AI within Staffology and MyEPayWindow to improve user experience, reduce payroll queries, and enhance automation.

1. AI-Generated Payslip Variance Summary for Employees
   Recently one of our client attended a Webinar from another payroll system provider showcased an AI feature that automatically generates a summary for employees explaining key variances in their pay from one month to another.
   Examples include:

   • Tax code changes

   • Sickness or absence deductions

   • Overtime fluctuations

   • Any other significant variances in pay

   This feature helps reduce employee queries by proactively explaining changes in their payslip.

2. Automatic Employee Notifications for HMRC Tax Code Changes
   The same system sends automated email notifications to employees when a tax code change is received from HMRC.
   This keeps employees informed early and helps prevent a large volume of pay-day queries, especially since tax code updates are one of the most common questions we receive each month.

These enhancements could significantly improve efficiency for payroll teams as well as for the clients and provide a more transparent experience for employees.
