The payment files produced will automatically populate with the payment date listed in the schedule but there are times when this needs amending (such as Christmas) when payroll is processed early.
The only option currently is to manually amend the payment file after it has been produced by the system which opens up a lot of risk.
This is really useful Izzy, thank you. I have asked several support questions relating to this and advised it is not possible so I'm very grateful to be provided with this information that I can share with the team.
Hey - We have the option to change an employees payment date or a whole schedule payment date before the pay run is finalised and this will also change the bacs file.
